How We Review Poker Platforms

EUPoker reviews online poker operators factually and without commercial bias. We hold no affiliate relationships, receive no payments from operators, and do not use ratings or rankings that imply endorsement. This page explains our methodology.

Our Review Standard

Every review on EUPoker is built around verifiable public information: licensing records, regulatory filings, traffic data from public trackers such as PokerScout and GameIntel, company ownership disclosures, and documented regulatory actions. We do not rely on information provided by operators themselves without independent verification.

We do not assign star ratings, percentage scores, or any system that implies one operator is better or worse than another for the purposes of encouraging players to sign up. Our objective is to provide the factual record so that players can make their own informed decisions.

What Our Reviews Cover

Each active operator review includes a structured factual scorecard covering: licensing authority and jurisdiction, year founded, parent company, current regulatory status in key European markets, software platform and game types available, and peak and current traffic data. Where significant regulatory actions, security incidents, or structural changes have occurred, these are documented with sources cited.

Historical reviews cover operators that have closed or undergone fundamental restructuring. These are written as a record of what occurred, not as evaluations.

What Our Reviews Do Not Include

EUPoker reviews do not contain sign-up links, referral codes, bonus recommendations, or any call-to-action designed to drive player acquisition. We do not feature “exclusive deals,” “best welcome offers,” or “top-rated” designations. Any link to an operator homepage in our content uses nofollow attribution and goes only to the operator’s main domain, never a bonus landing page.

We do not accept review requests, sponsored content, or payment to feature any operator. This policy applies permanently and unconditionally.

Traffic Data Sources

Player traffic data referenced in our reviews is sourced from publicly available trackers. These provide estimated active player counts at various times of day and are the standard industry reference for traffic comparison. Numbers are approximations and can vary; we note the data source and approximate date wherever traffic figures appear.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does EUPoker receive payments from poker rooms for reviews?
No. EUPoker operates independently without affiliate relationships or paid placements. Our reviews are based on objective criteria including licensing, player traffic, game variety, software quality, and player feedback. We do not receive commissions for directing players to any poker room.
How often are reviews updated?
We aim to update our reviews whenever significant changes occur, such as licence changes, software updates, ownership transfers, or shifts in player traffic. Major reviews are comprehensively reviewed at least annually. The “Updated” date on each review indicates when it was last revised.
Can I suggest a poker room for review?
Yes, we welcome suggestions from readers. If there is an online poker room or network operating in Europe that we have not yet covered, you can contact us with the suggestion and we will evaluate whether it meets our criteria for inclusion.
